Acrylic paint
Acrylic paint is now an accepted medium and competes with oil and watercolour. I prefer using this paint to oil because acrylic is quick drying, long lasting, and bendable.
Mona Lisa
The Mona Lisa is without a shadow of a doubt the most famous painting in the world. It was painted in oil by useonardo da Vinci an Ialian genius. It is on display in the Louve in Paris and has only once been stolen, but was successfully located. I have seen this phenomenon but the experience in the main was dissapointing. Due to the crowds and the protective glass, detailed observation was out of the question. I have painted the famous picture myself on one occassion. I put it on display for €200 but it did not sell. Someone did remark that it had come down in price and said it must be the recession.
