On our day out up North with the Coolock Library Art Group I did this actylic sketch of Annalong Watermill in County Down. Lovely part of the country.
We had a meeting of the group in The library to plan for the future. Included left to right are Gwen O Byrne, Margaret Hollywood ,myself ,Barbara Thompson and Agnes Pearse. Macker (Paddy McGowan) took the picture.
My friend Macker wrote a book of short stories about his life in the army. I did the illustrations. It is nice to see the books on the shelves. You can get a signed copy if you buy in “Books and Beans” in the Northside and whynot have a nice cup of coffee while you are there.
Myself and Shane enjoying the glorious sunshine in Saint Annes Park today.
I did this still life in acrylics
Dynah Kennedy from the the Golden Years Art Group in Darndale did this acrylic portrait of her mother.
I was the launch of the Creative Ireland Programme launched by Leo Varadkar and Heather Humphries in Parnell Square today. This is a culture based programme designed to promote individual community and national wellbeing and is countrywide.
