Brugha, Cathal (1874-1922)

2016-01-24 21.01.19I did this illustration of Cathal Brugha, a Dublin man and an Irish revolutionary who fought at the South Dublin Union in 1916. Very badly wounded he still managed to hold his post and survived. He supported the anti-treaty side during the civil war and was mortally wounded during a shootout He is buried in Glasnevin Cemetery.
